Paul -My player of the season. Give his all every game and does exactly what a sniper should, gets into the right position when it matters and looks for the tip. One more year David, one more year 10/10
Jono -Is everything I want in a Panthers player, hard-working, graft and ability. Probably tried too hard when going through his goal drought but at least he was busting a gut every shift. Was outstanding in the Play-Offs and if he is to retire, what a way to go out. Personally though I think he has one more season left in him. 9/10
Iain -If this is Beau’s swansong then what a way to go out. Dedicated, hardworking and lethal. Felt for him when the bounces were not going his way, but so pleased we saw him in Black and Gold. Provider of second best comedy gold moment when Clan fans painted him as a “Woosie” for playing in a full face mask. 8/10
Greg -He might not have scored as many as the other import forwards but gets extra marks for trying. Whilst others coasted through slumps DAB tried (too hard at times) to claw himself out of the whole and when he scored in the quarter final you could see the relief coming off him. Played the play-off weekend games like they were his last and if so what a way to go out. 9/10
Couldn’t remember him being an “in your face” player while in Altringham. DAB showed another side to his game other than goal scoring. Worked so damn hard. ONE MORE YEAR!
Love this guy. As 2010-11 was my first season as a Panthers fan, I’d love to see him on the ice again in September.
Winning the league would be an even better way to bow out! Next season DAB?
