Panthers rush to sign French enforcer

Renault Twingosport is Panthers new man

After accusations from the fanbase that Panthers were being bullied on the ice, coach Corey Neilson moved to sign new French sensation Renault Twingosport after his sensational TV Debut on the BBC last night. Twingosport was seen hammering Belfast enforcer Sean McMorrow with a hit so hard that he was lay motionless on the ice for several seconds. When he came around, McMorrow just skated away and made no attempt to gain revenge with his fists. Twingosport looks likely to take over McMorrow’s mantle as the league’s top heavyweight. Cardiff enforcer Brad Voth was wary, saying “Man, if I’d I’ve hit someone that hard I’d be looking at a 12 month ban, 18 months if it was someone from Sheffield! McMorrow looked like he’d been run over by a car!”
Sadly, it’s likely to be a couple of months before Twingosport is available to play for the Panthers after he picked up a freak injury trying to catch a ferry!
